Printer Showcase | EFI Pro 24f Wide Format Flatbed Printer
Continuing our series of printer showcases, we will be highlighting the EFI Pro 24f Wide Format Flatbed Printer. The newest printer in MAD’s arsenal of equipment, the EFI Pro 24f, is an upgrade from a Rastek H652. We have yet to give this one a nickname, but it is a beast. Let’s break down the specs, materials/substrates it can print on, and some example print jobs to help you understand what it’s capable of and how it can help your next project.
SPECS
The EFI Pro 24f can print full-bleed on materials up to 4’ x 8’ in size and up to 2” thick. Further, with its true flatbed design, a multi-zone vacuum system holds materials in place, ensuring a precise print every time. According to EFI’s website, “It’s the strategic choice for printers producing graphic arts, art reproductions, membrane switches, graphic overlays…as well as overflow printing and where precision and fine-detail, image quality, and speed are critical”.
